Diego Guevara, Global Design Director, Nike
Since 2016, Diego and has been leading performance product creation as a Global Design Director at Nike. As Director of Advanced Concepts, he focuses on creating the future of Nike and Sport by working with athletes and cross-functional teams on product creation, creative strategy, and brand vision.
Diego also serves as Co-Chair of Nike Latino & Friends Network, leading the 2,500+ member employee group representing Nike’s LatinX community and co-launched LatinX Design Crew, a creative community focusing on the development, celebration, and promotion of LatinX talent at Nike.
In 2023, he expanded these programs outside of Nike’s HQ by partnering with non-profit organizations. In 2022 he was appointed as Board Member of IMPACT Immigration, a nonprofit that provides pro-bono psychological evaluations to immigrants and refugees.
Before joining, Nike, Diego worked as a Creative Director for agencies and clients including Sony, Johnson & Johnson, AT&T, Warner Music, Hilton and Marriott Hotels. And, between 2006 and 2011 served as Design professor at Miami Ad School.
Artist, Author, Designer, Timothy Goodman, LLC
Timothy Goodman is an award-winning artist, graphic designer, author and public speaker. His art and words have populated walls, packaging, clothes, products, and magazine covers and one sanitation truck for brands such as Apple, Nike, Google, Samsung, MoMa, Netflix, Yves Saint Laurent, Time, the New Yorker, the New York Times. His partnerships have included a global collection of clothing with Uniqlo and a Nike basketball shoe with Kevin Durant. He regularly partners with not-for-profit organizations and schools to create art for communities and schools in NYC.
He’s the co-creator of several social experiments including the viral blog and book 40 Days of Dating (whose TV rights were optioned to Netflix) and 12 Kinds of Kindness. His second solo gallery exhibition Every Time I Fall in Love It’s Summer was on view at The Richard Taittinger Gallery in the summer of 2023.
Timothy’s work often discusses topics such as mental health, manhood, race, politics, heartbreak and love. He teaches at School of Visual Arts in NYC, and regularly speaks around the world at creative conferences. His graphic memoir I Always Think It's Forever was published in 2023 by Simon & Schuster.
Ali Slayton, Head of Design, LEGO Agency Americas
Ali Slayton’s journey in the world of creativity began in photography studios, where she discovered her love for color theory, darkroom printing, and the magic of photo composition. Transitioning to in-house agencies, she applied her skills to industrial and print designs, making a lasting impact on consumer and luxury brands. Since 2010, Ali has been a guiding force in creative initiatives at The LEGO Group as a senior creative leader. Her expertise spans diverse realms, including award-winning children's content, captivating visual identities, enticing packaging, and global brand campaigns resonating across continents.
Currently, as the Head of Design at The LEGO Group Americas internal creative agency, she concentrates on developing and implementing design excellence through the careful crafting of experiences using layout, typography, and visual elements.
Ali is a free spirit inspired by her two boys and fueled by music, culture, and art by approaching every project as a unique journey. To her, every color tells a story, and each creation is a testament to her unwavering commitment to her passion for visual storytelling.
