Welcome to PRINT Awards 2024

In 1980, we launched PRINT’s Regional Design Awards competition with a simple goal: to show that outstanding design wasn’t just limited to New York City, and could be found throughout every single region of the United States. For decades, the PRINT RDA was heralded as one of the most prestigious American design competitions, and was a go-to resource for both designers seeking inspiration and creative firms seeking designers. Since then, the PRINT Awards became global and continues to celebrate design excellence by taking the annual pulse of the industry. The competition has integrated new mediums to evaluate the field's ongoing evolution, while still celebrating its founding heritage.

Our goal is to spotlight the best domestic and international work through 26 comprehensive categories targeting every aspect of graphic design, from identities to type design to web design to concept work. Presiding over the entries is our global jury composed of 34 members—the largest we’ve ever had—representing an broad range of targeted disciplines and perspectives. Top winners will be featured on PRINT, among other prizes.

In 2022, as the world continued to be affected by the pandemic, PRINT launched a free-to-enter Citizen Design category to recognize the work and critical thinking that designers bring to issues of social justice, community intervention, sustainability and human rights across issues and borders. For 2024, the Citizen Design category is still free-to-enter, and will honor work designed to protect and support the rights of LGBTQIA+ individuals.

About PRINT

Design is everything. Everything is design.

PRINT (founded 1940) is where creative people gather to inspire and build design dialogue. Perpetually curious about everything design, we report on, curate and celebrate visual culture, the makers of that culture and the expression of graphic design in all its forms and mediums.
